Draft State
The Draft State feature allows you to work on cases without immediately publishing them. This is essential for scenarios where you need to gather information gradually, review before finalizing, or collaborate with team members before submitting.
How Draft State Works
When you create a new case, it automatically enters Draft state. While in this state, you can:
- Edit all fields without restriction
- Save your progress automatically or manually
- Invite collaborators to review and contribute
- Preview the final case before publishing
- Discard changes if needed
Workflow
Create Case → Draft State → Review → Publish → Active Case
Best Practices
tip
Use draft state for complex cases that require review and approval before publication. This ensures accuracy and allows multiple team members to contribute before the case goes live.
- Review all information before publishing to ensure accuracy
- Set up workflows to notify team members when cases are ready for review
- Archive drafts periodically to keep your workspace organized
