Calendar
Avikto has a Global Calendar that shows organisation-wide events visible to your entire team. The same calendar is also accessible from within individual cases, where you can work at the case level or switch context to view the global view without leaving the case.
Global Calendar
The Global Calendar is available from the Calendar icon in the main sidebar. It displays all events across the organisation in a single shared view.
Views
Switch between four calendar layouts using the tabs at the top:
| View | Description |
|---|---|
| Month | Full month grid — see all events at a glance |
| Week | Seven-day view with time slots |
| Day | Single-day breakdown by hour |
| List | Scrollable list of upcoming events |
Filters
Use the filter controls to narrow what's shown:
- Event Type — Filter by the category of event (e.g. Reminder, Holiday, Meeting)
- Organiser — Filter events by the person who created them
Upcoming Events Panel
A right-hand panel shows upcoming events starting from today's date, grouped by day for quick reference.
Creating an Event
Click Create Event from the Global Calendar to add a new organisation-wide event. You can also click directly on any date in the Month or Week view to start an event on that day.
Holidays
Public and company holidays appear on the Global Calendar automatically. Holiday events are shown with a distinct colour and are visible to all team members across all views.
Case-Level Calendar
Each case has its own calendar, accessible from the calendar icon inside the case detail panel. By default it shows events scoped to that case only.
Switching to the Global View
A Global toggle at the top of the case calendar lets you switch context between:
| Toggle State | What you see |
|---|---|
| Off (default) | Events belonging to this case only |
| On | The full organisation-wide calendar, in context alongside the case |
This lets you coordinate case scheduling against team-wide events without navigating away from the case.
